The DZOFilm Pavo series is one of the classic anamorphic lenses, whereby the close-up capacity reminiscent of spherical lenses in combination with the 2x anamorphic effect ensures remarkably dramatic close-ups. The anamorphic lenses from DZOFilm surprised us very positively several times during our large lens test. The entire Pavo series is consistent in colour, the close focus of 0.4m (28mm T2.1) is remarkable and the soft, washed-out blur is beautiful. The ability to change the flange focal distance with a screw is particularly helpful. A lot is right here. Not least the price/performance ratio.
