Thypoch Simera-C

Get closer

Unlike the Simera Photo series, the Cinema line features 16 aperture blades, resulting in a softer, rounder bokeh and minimizing flare ("onion rings"). This natural and smooth background blur enhances image clarity and visibly improves artistic aesthetics. The Simera-C series delivers a soft bokeh and gentle edge fall-off for a natural sense of depth.

Thanks to low dispersion and high-refractive-index optical elements, Simera lenses achieve 8K resolution on a 43.2mm (FF) image circle and significant correction of chromatic aberration.

With a constant T1.5 aperture across the entire series, these lenses excel in a wide range of lighting conditions. The shallow depth of field lends dramatic depth and excellent spatial separation to every image, while the fast aperture ensures rich tonal values and textures even in low light.

The floating element construction of the Simera-C series allows for a very short minimum focusing distance (⌀ 0.4m). The low weight (⌀ 450g) and the possibility of adapting to RF, L, Z, DL and E mounts make these lenses true all-rounders.

Advice
